JOB SUMMARY:

To provide day-to-day processing of project awards and modifications. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Processes all non-competing project set-ups and budget loads in a timely manner

  • Reviews, edits and enters all proposal data into the PeopleSoft database

  • Reviews/updates/initiates all award and budget data in order to achieve over-all target objective of seventy-two (72) hours for award set up and budget load

  • Corrects database attributes(s) in response to appropriate request from Sponsored Research function or other central business operation

  • Maintains knowledge of database and research administration functions in order to maximize PeopleSoft data integrity

  • Responds to all requests for information and/or assistance in a timely manner

  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure

MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; no additional experience required.   

EQUIPMENT: 

Standard office equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:

Standard office environment.
