JOB SUMMARY:  

 

Manage the systems, projects, and teams to meet the needs of business systems department and its customers. Provide experience to the business systems department through knowledge of applications used in an entire business unit and through their constructive teamwork with the functional and technology teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Management

·        Manage and motivate a diverse team

·        Create project plans and manage to the plan

·        Establish and maintain customer expectations and high level of customer satisfaction

·        Remain delivery focused and meet deadlines especially when competing priorities exist

·        Provide oral and written status updates to customers and leadership

·        Indentify educational opportunities for the team

·        Adhere to internal controls and audit requirements 

Technical and Analytic Skills

·        Use and apply functional knowledge of all tools used within the department

·        Lead the team in developing solutions according to department methodologies

·        Facilitate all phases of the development lifecycle including functional specifications, project plans, test plans, and training plans

·        Analyze current processes and functions to provide process improvement recommendations across various technologies

·        Manage application software upgrades to internal systems

MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, General Business Administration or Management Information Systems degree and 5 years of related experience in finance system applications.

EQUIPMENT:

Standard office equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:

Standard hospital, clinical, laboratory and/or office environments.
