JOB SUMMARY:

To assist Finance Leadership in organizational development, benchmarking, operational reporting, scorecards, management reporting, performance management, measuring trends, budgeting, analysis and other financial activities with an intermediate functional or organizational scope.

 MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

• Analyzes business operations and identifies improvements for multiple or complex Finance functional areas.
• Monitors and measures the trends in one or more, operational or functional area.
• Creates and develops specialized reports that include business plans, operational reviews and profitability reports.
• Analyzes business ventures.
• Manages and coordinates departmental budget process.
• Provides support to institutional committees.
• May supervise the work of others including analyzing workload, determining work priority, assigning duties and overseeing work progress.
• Supports/manages other institutional duties and projects as assigned by Finance Leadership.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

• Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
• Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field and 5 years of related experience.
