JOB SUMMARY:
Supports the Office of Institutional
Effectiveness’ mission of providing university leadership with data,
information, findings and analysis necessary for improving, sustaining, and
enhancing the university’s effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Conducts institutional effectiveness projects related primarily, but not
exclusively, to the university’s academic mission.

Assists with the preparation and submittal of mandatory and ad hoc reports
to UT System and state and federal agencies.

With guidance, conducts institutional effectiveness projects from a general
problem statement or list of objectives.

Writes reports based on data and analysis developed by Office of
Institutional Effectiveness staff.

Prepares presentations, including text, tables, charts, and graphs for
presentation at on and off campus events.

Prepares effective reports that include text, tables, graphs, charts, etc.
-
Updates standard presentations with annual data.

Assists with data analysis using analytical and statistical methods and
tools.

Assists in the institutional program effectiveness/program assessment
process.

Develops survey instruments, assists in implementation, and prepares reports
based on analysis.

Interact with a wide range of personalities at various levels within and
outside the university.

Adhere to policies, procedures and controls.
MARGINAL OR PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related
field, and one year related experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Standard office equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION OF POSITION:
Standard office environments.

Specific job requirements or physical location
