JOB SUMMARY: To provide professional and administrative coordination of human resource and financial management activities. MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: Administrative · Responsible for Human Resources procedures related to employee appointment and maintenance transactions. This includes but is not limited to the following: § Review and process Employment Authorization Forms. § Review and process the following transactions, including but not limited to: new hires, transfers, reclassifications, status changes, salary changes, separations, and leaves of absence. § Open and maintain complete/accurate files. § Update/maintain faculty database, if applicable. § Review and process Memorandums of Appointment, if applicable. § Ensure compliance with UT System Regents Rules. · Serve as liaison to staff in other entity processing units, Human Resources, Payroll, and other support areas. · Interacts with customers toward effective problem resolution and assists with questions regarding policies, procedures, and operations of the entity. · Prepares reports as requested for institutional and/or external reporting purposes. · In the School of Medicine, coordinate, verify and submit the AAMC Faculty Salary Survey and all Faculty Roster information. Complete annual surveys and run reports as needed. · Identifies operational problems and implements changes to provide solutions. Budget · Coordinate information to support the institutional/departmental budget and planning process. · Maintains departmental reconciliation and analysis of commitments made through the entity. · Adheres to internal controls established for department.

required. REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
