JOB SUMMARY:

Organize, catalog and maintain collection of teaching material.

 MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: 

• Work with Faculty and Staff for effective use of teaching specimens.

• Collect specimens as designated by Supervisor.

• Prepare teaching materials for student laboratories.

• Work with instructional management office personnel to ensure timely and smooth operation of the teaching labs.

• Perform general maintenance of the laboratory.

• Order supplies and equipment as needed.

• Identifies appropriate internal controls for department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

• Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Basic Science or equivalent.

EQUIPMENT:

Standard laboratory equipment

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Standard laboratory environment
