JOB SUMMARY:

Provide patient-side assistance during remote physician services telemedicine visits and coordinate clinical health care as part of an overall electronic health service program. 

MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS:

• Works with patient during remote physician services visits.
• Takes vital signs.
• Performs telemedicine supplemental examinations (digital stethoscopy, EKG, ancillary medical cameras, etc.) under physician supervision.
• Presents patient during encounter.
• Performs patient education and patient case management.
• Creates and monitors entries into an electronic medical record system.
• Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

Associates degree or equivalent and three years related experience.  Requires an RN - Registered Nurse or EMT - Emergency Medical Technician.
