The Health Promotion and Wellness program is vital to UTMB's most valuable asset:
our employees.

The ultimate goal of our worksite initiative is to create an atmosphere that both values and meets individual and organizational needs for health improvement. The scope of our program encompasses special populations, health coaching, prevention/health education, and fitness.

Team up with UTMB Health for the 2014 UT System Physical Activity Challenge – Living Well, Moving Well

Sign up today to receive your free pedometer

This six-week walking/physical activity challenge begins Thursday, May 1, and it is available to all UT SELECT medical plan members.

Registration for the challenge is open until Wednesday, May 7 – sign up now at www.livingwell.utsystem.edu/challenge14.htm and receive a free pedometer from UT System. Additional incentives and rewards are available for employees and

retirees who complete 50,000 steps per week.

UT System's Living Well: Make it a Priority Worksite Health and Wellness program is committed to helping you achieve your best health. Rewards for participating in a wellness activity are available to all employees. If for health reasons you believe you might be unable to meet the established requirements to earn a reward under a Living Well program, you may qualify for an opportunity to earn the same reward by different means. Please contact us at hr.wellnessforlife@utmb.edu and we will work with you (and if you wish, with your doctor) to develop a wellness program that is right for you in light of your health status and provides you with an opportunity to earn the same reward.
